Who We Are
The Redeeming Hearts Outreach Center ministry was founded by Pastor Michael Lewis and First Lady Markeete Lewis in April, 2004. Pastor Lewis has been married to 1st Lady Lewis for 28 years. He and First Lady Lewis are the proud parents of four children: Kevin (deceased), Michelle, Jason and Marcus.
Together, both Pastor Lewis and 1st Lady Lewis have established themselves as “people who care about the concerns of others.” They have served as keynote speaker’s at church retreats, youth conferences and anniversary services. Each year they are both instrumental in the establishment of an annual 2-day youth retreat for youth ages 7-18 years old. This youth retreat has ministered to more than 800+ souls since its first kick off in March, 2001.
Pastor Lewis and First Lady Lewis have a heart for reaching souls. Pastor Lewis is known for using his artistic abilities with his multimedia production skills to educate youth and adults on basic biblical truths. Some of his drama presentations are: Heart of a Prodigal Son (A remake of the Prodigal Son) Bound by the Sound (Education on today’s secular hip-hop music and culture) Back to Basics (Encouraging men to lead, provide and protect) Halloween: Trick or Truth (Uncovering the myths of Halloween). He also performs in character as: Mr. Junebug Wilson (A hilarious comedy skit about marriage, romance and sex) Prophet of Truth (Bible storytelling for ages 3-8).
First Lady Lewis is known for using her practical teaching style to minister to youth and adults in organized ministries such as “Talk Back Youth Night” and “Victorious Disciples”. Some of her other workshops and sessions include content on marriage, the family as a unit, issues concerning youth and young adults and life management skills.
With the help of God, our overseer Apostle Donald Downing and outstanding group of church members and staff, both Pastor Lewis and First Lady have successfully led the Redeeming Hearts Outreach Center since its opening. Together, they aspire to continue teaching and preaching the word of God using practical teaching methods, theatrical productions and a true sincerity of heart.
